Hey 👋 I’m Nicolas Mérouze and you’re receiving this email because you’ve subscribed to my newsletter either on my website, on Twitter, on LinkedIn, or on Customer Fitted. Over the last year, I’ve started using AI a lot for Customer Fitted, my marketing agency. While it’s far from replacing me, it’s been augmenting my agency so much. But I’ve been disappointed by AI apps that automate everything. Whether it’s SEO, social media, copywriting, or else. The quality is underwhelming. So I decided to make my own. After a few iterations, I’m finally launching the early access of the app that’s been helping me the most: n=1 — a context & prompt management app with built-in content templates and AI playbooks. Why I made this app? My prompts have a lot of moving pieces. If I write a blog post or a landing page, I’ll have 20+ examples of sections and 5+ data sources. That’s how you get the perfect output, a few lines of instructions just won’t do it. It’s possible to create a new project in ChatGPT or Claude each time and add these examples and sources to the context but it’s bothersome. Imagine developers having to do that with their source code… So I made an app where I can store this data and the instructions, build my context and prompt in a few clicks and paste it in my favorite AI app. It’s been such a time saver for me, but as you can see with all that explanation, it’s not easy to show the world the value of it. And maybe nobody else has this pain. So I need your help to get feedback! What can you do with n=1? Let’s start with something I did just last week. Here’s how AI helps me interview customers and write case studies: 🤖 Customize questions for each customer (from my own base interview script) With n=1, I store case study examples I like and then I have the transcription and categorized quotes for my data sources. And I can reuse the examples and prompts for all my clients and all customer story projects now. I also do that for:
Yes it won’t automate 100% of the processes, but if you’re serious about producing quality content, you shouldn’t anyway. If you want to automate all the use cases I just listed it will cost you 100s of dollars and multiple apps for usually low quality content anyway. And it comes on top of your ChatGPT or Claude subscription. Plus, if you’re not a veteran marketer with already all the content templates in your own private swipe file, it will take you weeks to make your own prompts that have high quality outputs. My app is free and it’s made to be used with ChatGPT, Claude, or any other AI. Yes, there will be a pro version with more features, but it will never come close to the price of alternatives. I made a demo video here:
How can you start using n=1 now? You can just sign up here: https://app.neq1.ai/ The AI playbooks and content templates are built in the app, so you can get started in just a few minutes. The onboarding isn’t perfect yet, I need more feedback first. But I would really love if you were scheduling an onboarding call with me so I can get your first impressions and help you get started: https://cal.com/nicolasmerouze/meeting. Really appreciate any kind of feedback, even just a quick reply to this email. 🙏 |

This time, let's talk about the current state of SEO, ads, and Google for SaaS companies. It's the holiday season, meaning I have some time to reflect and set up my goals for 2025.
